The Water is a psychedelic, free-improv noise band. Hailing from San
Francisco, Texas and New York City, the members of The Water converged
in a Brooklyn yoga studio. The Water channels the cacophony
and multiplicity of New York City through their experience in jazz,
punk,country and electronic music. In intense, free-flowing streams of
chaotic and gorgeous sound, genres collapse and subdivide. Instruments,
effects and utensils are repurposed and a cascade of musical energy
washes over the audience. |
